Our mission at SecureUAcademy is to enable everyone to have access to cybersecurity education. By offering concise, interesting lectures on how to stay safe online, we hope to bridge the knowledge gap between young adults and everyday internet users. We are here to change the reality that many people lack the fundamental knowledge necessary to recognize phishing schemes, make secure passwords, and safeguard personal information.

About us
SecureUAcademy began as a small class project with a big goal—to make cybersecurity education simple and accessible for everyone. After seeing how many young adults lacked fundamental knowledge about being safe online, our team of four University of Evansville students joined together. We witnessed personally how easy it is to ignore basic security procedures that can have a significant impact, from using weak passwords to falling for phishing scams.
A website concept swiftly evolved into a mission. In order to build a learning platform that is not only educational but also entertaining and useful, each team member contributed special talents ranging from research and design to communication and technology. Our goal was to create something tangible that would enable people to comprehend the "why" of cybersecurity and provide them with the means to protect themselves.
Following weeks of planning, designing, and brainstorming, SecureUAcademy was launched as an educational website dedicated to cybersecurity awareness. Our focus remains the same today: to empower individuals through knowledge, promote safer digital habits, and make cybersecurity a part of everyday life.
